This course equips Civil Engineering diploma students with essential knowledge and practical skills in construction management and project documentation required for real-world construction projects. It covers fundamental management principles, the role and responsibilities of construction engineers, and systematic construction management processes. Students learn modern planning and control techniques such as CPM and PERT, along with site layout planning, material mobilization, safety management, quality assurance, and cost control. The course also provides in-depth understanding of tendering procedures, e-tendering (e-GP), contractor pre-qualification, and Public Procurement Rules (PPR). Through hands-on exercises, students gain experience in preparing schedules, networks, tender documents, and project reports, enabling them to manage construction projects efficiently and professionally.
